Thank you for choosing Winnie Moon. Because our premium baby essentials and nursery decor are lovingly handcrafted in small batches right here in Norfolk, England, we pour immense care into ensuring every stitch meets our strict standards of handmade integrity.
We want you and your little one to completely fall in love with your purchase. However, if an item isn't quite what you expected, we are here to assist you in line with The British Craft House platform guidelines and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
1. 14-Day Return Window
Under UK Distance Selling laws, you have the right to change your mind and return an item.
Notification: Please contact us via the internal messaging system on The British Craft House website within 14 days of receiving your delivery to notify us of your intent to return.
Dispatch: Once you have notified us, you then have an additional 14 days to return the physical item safely back to us in Norfolk.
2. Return Conditions
To eligibility for a full refund, items must be returned to us in their original, showroom condition:
Items must be completely unused, unwashed, and stain-free.
Items must remain in their original presentation packaging (such as our signature natural manilla gift boxes or branded tags intact).
Due to health and hygiene standards, items that have been pre-washed or used in a nursery setting cannot be accepted for a return.
3. Non-Refundable & Custom Items
In accordance with standard craft marketplace policies, custom-made or personalized items cannot be refunded or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or faulty. This includes any blankets, wreaths, or plush toys that have been explicitly modified, monogrammed, or custom-stitched to your unique specifications.
4. Return Shipping Costs
Change of Mind: If you are returning an item simply because it doesn't fit your space or you have changed your mind, the buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage. We highly recommend using a tracked service or obtaining a free proof of postage from the Post Office, as we cannot issue a refund for items lost in transit back to us.
Faulty or Incorrect Items: In the rare event that an item arrives with a craftsmanship defect or if the wrong item was dispatched, Winnie Moon will fully cover the return shipping costs and arrange a swift replacement or full refund.
5. How to Initiate a Return
Log into your account on The British Craft House.
Go to your orders and click to contact Winnie Moon directly through our shop page.
State your order number and the reason for your return.
We will promptly send you our secure Norfolk return shipping address and custom instructions.
6. Processing Your Refund
Once your return arrives back in our studio and is inspected to ensure it meets our return conditions, we will process your refund immediately. The funds will be credited back to your original payment method via The British Craft House secure checkout system. Please note that banks or card issuers can take between 3–5 working days for the balance to reflect in your account.
