Lined with good quality white soft to touch pale lilac waterproof PUL (75% polyester 25% polyurethane) fabric. The lining is very durable, soft and breathable and therefore comfortable to wear
Internal elastic threaded through hat
Made to last and can withstand general showering, but not water tight like a swimming hat

When hat is flat, as in photo, it measures approximately 11 inches across and should fit most medium sized heads depending on volume of hair
I have made a few prototype hats and have found this to be the most comfortable. This size fits me well with room to spare and I have thick wavy medium length hair. See last photo to show you me wearing my cap to give idea of size

Hang up to dry after use (this is a heavier weight quality cotton so takes longer to dry than my lighter weight shower caps. I either dry mine on the line in summer or near radiator in winter)
Hand wash or gentle machine wash as required. Do not use fabric softener. Can withstand gentle tumble drying
Can iron the outer cotton fabric if needed with a warm iron (not too hot) but do not iron the lining
