Winged Skull Memento Mori single stud earring handcrafted in recycled 950 sterling silver. This earring called Free Spirit was designed and hand crafted to embody an ethos of living uninhibited, and breaking free from societal norms. Embrace a life without constraints—live and let live! This listing is for one left-worn single earring. I do not make a reverse version of this for the right ear.
How they are made and sizes.
This single Free Spirit earring is made using Sterling Silver clay, formed in two different moulds then fixed together while still in clay form. I then dry and bake it in the kiln, which turns it into 950 solid sterling silver. Then a sterling silver earring post is soldered on and a large scroll back added. Next added is a non toxic liver of sulphur to create the blackened finish before polishing once again. Last but not least, a renaissance wax is added to help reduce tarnishing and protect the finish. All my items are handcrafted and although I do try to make each piece identical, there will be some very small differences that make them unique.
Single left earring measurements approximately 28mm long, skull 7mm wide, and widest part of the wing 10mm wide.
Packaging
All items come packaged in a beautiful branded Arcane Nature box or pouch depending on the particular design of your purchase and is accompanied with tissue paper, silver cleaning cloth and care card on how to best care for your jewellery for years to come.
Shipping
Shipping costs are already included within the UK and are sent via Royal Mail 48hr, with optional upgrades available at a charge. Please be aware these times are estimate only and I cannot offer any guarantee on delivery times once it’s in the hands of the postal service.
Gifting and Gift Wrapping
If you are purchasing as a gift then you have the option for a free gift card to be hand written and added in along with your gift, please add details in the Gift description box above.
Upgrading to gift wrapping for £1.00 includes having the box or pouch that the gift is placed in being wrapped in a complimenting style paper with a ribbon around. It is then placed in the outer cardboard box with all the additional care cards, tissue paper and silver cleaning cloth as mentioned above.
If your item is being sent as a gift then please be sure to update the mailing address on checkout before you complete your order. I can hold no responsibility for items being sent to to the wrong person due to an incorrect address.

Thank you for supporting my small business. Once your order is placed, I will begin processing it as soon as possible. Processing times vary depending on the range and are listed below. If you’ve ordered multiple items, they will be shipped together based on the longest processing time.

Box & Postage Note:
Only two jewellery gift boxes fit per delivery package. If you require more boxes, or if you are ordering from outside the UK or upgrading your delivery, additional postage fees may apply. If unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Refund Policy
RETURNS & CONDITIONS
Please note that unless an item is damaged or faulty, I am not legally obliged to accept returns for personalised or custom-made items that cannot be resold. This includes the entire Sterling Ash Designs range, all sized rings, wedding bands, commissions, and other personalised items across my collections.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photographs BEFORE opening the packaging. Once opened, take additional photos of the item and any damage. This helps support any postal claims and ensures a swift resolution.
If you believe your item is faulty, please get in touch with detailed photographs of the issue so I can assess and advise.

NON-FAULTY RETURNS
Postage Costs:
Buyers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged (as above). I strongly recommend using a tracked postal service.
Item Condition:
Returns must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with undamaged original packaging. Any reduction in value due to wear, damage, or missing packaging will be deducted from your refund.
International Returns:
Clearly mark the package as ‘RETURNED GOODS’ to help avoid unnecessary customs fees.
Proof of Postage:
Obtain and keep a receipt or proof of postage from your Post Office.
