Sandcast 6mm High Polished Wedding Ring Handcrafted in Recycled 18ct Yellow Gold – Unisex Design for All
Although traditionally referred to as a gents ring band due to its width, this ring is designed to be inclusive and suitable for anyone—whether you’re shopping for a lady, gent, they/them, or however you identify. Love has no label, and neither does this timeless piece.
🔨 How it’s made
This elegant 6mm wedding band is handcrafted in rich 18ct yellow gold using the ancient technique of sandcasting. With its shiny finish and organically textured surface, no two rings are ever identical—making it a perfect symbol of a one-of-a-kind connection.
♻️ Ethically made using molten 18ct recycled yellow gold, this ring is slow-crafted from scratch in my small studio. I begin by carving a wax model to your chosen size, pressing it into sand to create a unique mould. The wax is then removed, and molten gold is carefully poured in to form the ring.
Once cooled and set, the band is refined by hand—filed, sanded, and carefully polished to a high polished mirror finish while preserving the natural texture left by the casting process. The result is a solid, meaningful ring filled with character and crafted with intention.

📮 Shipping
Free shipping within the UK and items are sent via Royal Mail fully insured Special Delivery by 1pm. Please be aware these times are estimate only and I cannot offer any guarantee on delivery times once it’s in the hands of the postal service.
🎁 Gifting and Gift Wrapping
If you are purchasing as a gift then you have the option for a free gift card to be hand written and added in along with your gift, please add details in the Handwritten Giftcard box above.
Upgrading to gift wrapping for £1.00 includes having the box that the gift is placed in being wrapped in a complimenting style paper with a ribbon around. It is then placed in the outer cardboard box with all the additional care cards, tissue paper and cleaning cloth as mentioned above.
If your item is being sent as a gift then please be sure to update the mailing address on checkout before you complete your order. I can hold no responsibility for items being sent to to the wrong person due to an incorrect address.

Each ring is made to order with care and attention. Rings take between 1-10 weeks to be made and hallmarked. Needing it sooner? I offer a speed service for £50 per item, but please contact before placing your order so I can confirm if this is going to be possible. PROCESSING TIME & DELIVERY INFORMATION
Thank you for supporting my small business. Once your order is placed, I will begin processing it as soon as possible. Processing times vary depending on the range and are listed below. If you’ve ordered multiple items, they will be shipped together based on the longest processing time.
While I always strive to dispatch orders quickly, please be aware that during busy periods I may need the full time listed. If there is ever a delay beyond the stated timeframe, I will email you in advance.
If you have a specific deadline or need your order urgently, please contact me before placing your order to ensure I can accommodate it.

Orders under £20.50: Free Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery
Orders over £20.50 and up to £150: Free Royal Mail 48hr Tracked delivery (upgrade options available)
Orders over £150: Free Special Delivery with insurance to cover item.
International Orders:
All international orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed (fees apply; see individual listings for specific costs)
Customs Fees: I cannot take responsibility for any duties or import fees incurred—please check your local regulations before purchasing.
Box & Postage Note:
Only two jewellery gift boxes fit per delivery package. If you require more boxes, or if you are ordering from outside the UK or upgrading your delivery, additional postage fees may apply. If unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Wedding Rings

No separate plastic packaging is added along with your order. Every purchase is thoughtfully designed to feel like a special gift—whether it's for yourself or a loved one.
Refund Policy
RETURNS & CONDITIONS
Please note that unless an item is damaged or faulty, I am not legally obliged to accept returns for personalised or custom-made items that cannot be resold. This includes the entire Sterling Ash Designs range, all sized rings, wedding bands, commissions, and other personalised items across my collections.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photographs BEFORE opening the packaging. Once opened, take additional photos of the item and any damage. This helps support any postal claims and ensures a swift resolution.
If you believe your item is faulty, please get in touch with detailed photographs of the issue so I can assess and advise.

⏳ Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
📦 Return postage for damaged or faulty items will be refunded – please keep your proof of postage and postal receipt.
NON-FAULTY RETURNS
Postage Costs:
Buyers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged (as above). I strongly recommend using a tracked postal service.
Item Condition:
Returns must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with undamaged original packaging. Any reduction in value due to wear, damage, or missing packaging will be deducted from your refund.
International Returns:
Clearly mark the package as ‘RETURNED GOODS’ to help avoid unnecessary customs fees.
Proof of Postage:
Obtain and keep a receipt or proof of postage from your Post Office.
