This is our beautiful sculptural Lime Leaf Tree with 7 Lime leaves. They are made from marine grade stainless steel which we patinate with an array of colours from coppers to golds, pinks and blues which are UV stable.
A great gift for a golden or silver wedding anniversary and we can gold or silver plate the leaves and engrave with the names of loved family members.
We have been commissioned to personalise these as family trees with the name of grandparents, children and grandchildren as 60th and 70th birthday presents and beyond. Also as memorial trees for loved ones past and present and as pets memorials. The myriad of colours of the leaves from copper, to gold, pinks, purples and blues give a wonderful glint of colour, especially in the wintertime when when the leaves really stand out, we had a gang of blue tits seeing off a robin on one of our trees yesterday.
This sculptural tree is a stunning functional piece of art for the garden and is a limited edition. Each tree is beautifully crafted in our workshop in the UK, and makes a great present for gardeners and bird lovers alike.
Made from oxidised steel with a preserving waxed finish, it has a natural wood-like look and can be left to weather naturally or just reapply beeswax as required.
It is incredibly sturdy and robust and the birds simply adore it!
Item Description:
This bird feeding station has been designed as three separate components which makes assembly effortless, and it can be easily moved around the garden.
Dimensions (approx.) : h 226cm x w 70cm x d-62cm , our complete height is measured from the top of the tree to the bottom of the pole, once base has been pushed into the ground.
The bird feeder tree is in 3 components:
1. Tree top: dimensions- h-110cm x w-70cm x d- 62cm
2. Pole: dimensions- h- 116cm, diameter of pole 1.9cm ( so most squirrel bafflers fit).
3. Base: dimensions- h- 46cm x w-21cm x d- ( into ground) 30cm, in the shape of a star, with 4 x 30cm deep prongs, for extra strength.
There are 7 colourful oak leaves varying in size attached around the tree to provide decoration and balance, catching the sun’s rays.
The branches are constructed of 6,8 and 10mm mild steel so hold a large amount of weight and are really sturdy. The lowest branch starts at approximately 120cm from ground level and there are at least ten hanging points around the tree which will provide ample placements for all your bird seed feeders or perching spots for the birds, who love it! . A nut can be found attached to one of the lower branches, for the flower bird seed feeders and bird bath , if you would like one in the future.
The English Oak (quercus robur) supports more wildlife than any other UK native tree, and the Celts revered than as a symbol of truth, courage and wisdom.
This tree can also double as a stunning ornamental piece by covering in fairy lights which looks beautiful on a summer’s evening or in the more festive months of winter as a Christmas tree.
All the leaves can be engraved to commemorate and remember loved ones, anniversaries, pets or as birthday, retirement, and wedding gifts. We often make the tree sculpture as a family tree, with names of grandparents to children and grandchildren personalised on the leaves for 60th, 70th and 80th birthday gifts.
