An exact replica of an ammonite fossil made in recycled fine silver with a flat back and sterling silver bail. The pendant was handcrafted in my North Yorkshire studio and measures approximately18mm in diameter. You can choose between a 16″ (40cm) or 18″ (46cm) sterling silver belcher chain to complement your pendant or you can purchase the pendant without a chain if you prefer.

Description

I love walking along the beach near my North Yorkshire home, collecting shells and sea glass. I found this ammonite on a beach on the North Yorkshire coast line, we are so lucky to be able to find many fossils. This fine silver clay ammonite pendant was made from the real ammonite fossil I collect. I made a mould of the fossil and then pushed the fine silver clay into the mould. Once dry, I fired the clay, burning off the clay binder and leaving this solid fine silver fossil, which I cleaned and polished into its current beauty.

This pendant is suitable for everyday wear or would make a beautiful gift. The pendant can be purchased with or without a chain and is presented to you in a eco-friendly box ready for gifting along with a polishing cloth and care instructions.

Shipping Policy

Thank you for ordering from my small business. As soon as I receive your order I will begin processing it. All jewellery will be carefully gift wrapped in either an eco friendly cardboard gift box or card and sent to you in an appropriate mailing box, bag or padded envelope. Currently items are only shipped within the UK. Shipping is via Royal Mail Tracked 24 service or can be upgraded to Royal Mail Special Delivery (signed for) at the check out.
Most items that are in stock will be processed and despatched within 3-5 business days, but items that are made to order, customised items or bespoke commissions will take longer and this will be notified before work commences.
I am unable to guarantee specific delivery times of orders once posted regardless of shipping method chosen. Upgrading to Royal Mail Special Delivery at check out will allow the customer to receive a higher priority and more accurate tracking service within the Royal Mail system itself. The time taken for me to process your chosen item will remain the same.

Refund Policy

I hope you are happy with the jewellery you have ordered from me. If there are any problems with an order then please do not hesitate to contact me immediately so that we can work out how best to resolve the problem. If you are not completely delighted with your purchase or it is not as you expected, I am happy to accept returns. Refunds are accepted within seven days after receipt of the item and returned to me within 14 days provided the item has not been worn or altered in any way, and is returned in all the original packaging in a resale able condition. The customer is liable for return postage unless the item is faulty.
Handcrafted jewellery requires careful treatment post purchase for it to remain in the same condition it was purchased. Full care instructions and a cleaning cloth are provided with each order. Refunds will not be offered for any item that has been damaged or broken due to improper care or mishandling.
