Description
This original resin pour artwork captures a quiet Shetland night beneath a sweeping green aurora. Two ponies stand in stillness on the land below, while above them the Northern Lights move softly across a deep blue sky.
The aurora is created using glow-in-the-dark green pigment, revealing a subtle, magical glow when the lights fade — echoing the experience of watching the Aurora Borealis in Shetland’s dark winter skies. Layered resin gives depth and movement to the sky, with rich blues, teals and luminous greens shifting as the light changes.
Presented in a black tray frame, this piece measures 53 × 53 × 4 cm and is ready to hang. A tranquil, atmospheric artwork inspired by Shetland’s landscape, wildlife and night skies — celebrating calm, space and wonder.
