These drop dangle earrings are made from two vintage Kings pattern teaspoon handles, carefully cut and shaped into matching pendants. The detailed scrollwork of the Kings design runs along each piece, giving the earrings a classic, decorative look while preserving the character of the original silverware.

Each handle has been polished to bring out the raised pattern, highlighting the elegant curves and traditional detailing that define the Kings style. The natural taper of the spoon handles creates a flattering drop shape, allowing the earrings to hang gracefully and move gently when worn.

Suspended from simple ear wires, the finished earrings blend vintage charm with practical wearability. Once part of a tea set, the spoon handles are thoughtfully transformed into a coordinated pair of timeless, lightweight accessories.

Repurposed from two silver plated Kings Design tea spoons.

Manufactured in Sheffield, England the Kings collection design was originally created in the 1830’s, famous for their opulent designs, which often included Rococo decoration, shells and foliate scrolls.

Items made from vintage flatware are treasures with a history and a story. They may show evidence of their past through minor marks which I was unable to remove when polishing, but this only adds to the wonderful story it has to tell.

Shipping Policy

Your jewellery will be lovingly handmade to order and will be despatched as soon as possible, normally between 1-3 days. Please allow a little longer during peak times.

Your jewellery will be beautifully gift presented in branded Silver Birch jewellery boxes or gift pouch. Every care will be made so you receive a quality service.

Items are sent via Royal Mail 48hr Tracked service, which normally takes between 2-3 days, should you prefer your order sooner please select the express services at checkout.

Refund Policy

If your purchase does not meet your expectations please return it to us, unused and in its original packaging within 14 days of purchase, for a refund or exchange. Please remember to include your contact details and reason for return.

Please contact me within 7 days of receiving your item and return any items to me within 14 days. As soon as the returned item is received a refund will be issued. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is found faulty.

Please note: We cannot accept returns or exchanges on personalised jewellery or items made to order, unless faulty. For hygiene reasons we regret that earrings for pierced ears are also non-returnable unless faulty.

We recommend that you request proof of posting, which can be obtained by using either Royal Mail Signed For or Special Delivery. Silver Birch is not responsible for damage or loss in transit.
