Batik Style Crocheted Scarf

Fabulous crocheted scarf, made with a pretty variegated yarn. This beautiful batik swirl is named ‘highland’ and gently changes through dusky pinks and blues.

The scarf is made up of 12 granny squares, crocheted in a sunburst style. The central flower / circle is made separately, then continued out to create each square. I have alternated the colours here, so the central circles (‘sunbursts’) really stand out, creating a lovely batik look. Edged in a matching dusky pink.

Crochet cannot be machine made, so this beautiful scarf is very unique.

It measures well over 200 cm long and approx. 16 cm cm, with added 16 cm tassels
