These unique bottle brooches are miniature keepsakes inspired by the idea of a message in a bottle — tiny stories gathered from the shoreline and preserved forever. Each brooch contains a carefully arranged selection of natural shells and sea finds, set within crystal-clear resin to create a small, sealed world.
Handmade in Shetland, every bottle is individually composed, making each brooch completely one of a kind. Subtle differences in shells, colour and texture give each piece its own quiet narrative, like a secret washed ashore and discovered.
Designed to be worn as a statement piece, these brooches are lightweight, tactile and full of coastal character. They offer a wearable connection to the sea and a sense of curiosity — a reminder of found treasures and untold island stories.
Shetland beach inspired brooches.
I have used tiny pieces of shell, seaweed sea glass, sand and sea urchin shell from the coast line of Shetland and set them into crystal clear resin. Each one is individual and the perfect keep sake from Shetland. If you have a specific shell you would like let me know.
I have blue, black or white background to choose from. Measuring – 4.5 cm tall x 2.5 across
