This bespoke hammered recycled silver snowflake salt cast ring is created using sustainable methods from your own old, unwanted silver jewellery, and is the perfect way to recycle your old silver jewellery.
Each ring is truly one of a kind, with an organically shaped headpiece formed by pouring molten silver into a bed of rock salt.
The silver band features a subtle hammered notched surface, adding texture and character to give this ring a unique and simple beauty.
This bespoke silver ring is handmade sustainably in Cornwall. If you love natural, one-of-a-kind jewellery, this piece is perfect for you.
For an extra special touch, you have the option to receive a video of your silver being cast in rock salt. This will be uploaded to a smart QR code sticker, which will be attached to the back of your Arvor & Mor jewellery box.
How it works
How much silver will I need? – You will need approximately 2g of old, unwanted silver to make the head of this salt cast ring. Your old jewellery must be solid silver (not plated) and free from stones, enamel, or other attachments.
Place your order – there is an option to include a video of your silver being cast into water. This will be uploaded to a QR smart sticker and attached to the back of your Arvor and Mor presentation box.
Send in your silver – I’ll be in touch with all the details on what to do next and how to send your silver to me.
Receive your transformed jewellery! – As soon as I receive your silver, I’ll start crafting your new piece. I’ll let you know when it’s ready and on its way to you!
The images show a variety of salt cast snowflake rings to give you an idea of some of the shapes that come out when I cast into salt, but your ring head will be entirely unique, and its final form will only be revealed once it has been cast!
PACKAGING
Your jewellery will arrive in an elegant Arvor & Mor branded box, made from recycled and recyclable materials. It will be delivered in plain, unbranded outer packaging, making it perfect for gifts.
If you’re sending your ring directly to someone special, you can choose our gift wrapping option, complete with the option to include your own personal note, photo, or short video message.
PROCESSING & DELIVERY

Shipping Policy
All Arvor & Mor jewellery that is held in stock ready for dispatch is usually sent out within three working days. For all made-to-order and bespoke jewellery, please refer to individual lead times under the description on the product page.
I will always keep you informed of the progress of your order especially if there is likely to be any delay. You will be emailed when your jewellery is dispatched, but please do contact me if you would like more information on current dispatch times.

Channel Island parcels require a customs form to be attached. Customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges.
Local Pick up – free
If you live locally (I’m in Breage, Helston) and would like to pickup your order please purchase your order and pay for it online and I will email you to arrange a suitable time to pick it up when it's ready.
Refund Policy
I hope you love your jewellery. I take every possible care to ensure that it arrives safely in your hands. However, if you change your mind within 30 days, or it arrives damaged, I’m happy to arrange a refund or exchange.
Please do however note the following:
- You must contact me within 30 days of purchase to arrange a return
- Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of the return of the jewellery using the same method as you used to pay for your order
- Return postage costs will only be refunded if the item was - faulty, damaged or the incorrect item was sent
- Please remember to get proof of posting and be sure to use a delivery option that covers jewellery in transit, such Royal Mail Special Delivery. Any other method is at your own risk
- You are responsible for the care of your jewellery until it arrives back with me. This includes while the jewellery is in transit back to me
- Bespoke or made to order items are not eligible for refund or exchange unless damaged
- For hygiene reasons earrings are not eligible for return unless faulty
- No refunds can be given for gift certificates
- Please return your jewellery in its new & unworn condition and in its original, undamaged box
- Exchanges (unless due to a fault or damage) will incur additional postage charges
