Personal commissions created by Zara Katrina Illustrates. Using your photos as references can create personalised, beautiful, treasured artwork of your family and friends. These paintings are wonderful keepsakes, or make beautiful, unique gifts. I have created illustrations of special family moments that capture a special childhood memory, or are a way of capturing loved family members and friends. I have been commissioned to capture parents and grandchildren on special Birthdays, families with new young children celebrating their ‘firsts’ together and poignant images of those who have been loved and now lost (capturing joyous moments together). I can work closely with your brief and ideas and am an excellent communicator. I sketch my ideas and try and bring your vision to life- I can add poignant mementos in the photos, favourite flowers/foliage, or landscapes as backdrops and work to make the illustrations really special and unique. The pricing framework (is a guide) but follows this general outline:

Package 1 An A5 Pencil sketch and a hand painted illustration, or a high quality giclee print of a digital illustration (£30) without background added

Package 2 An original A4 hand painted illustration with an illustrated character (£40) with a few simple embellishments- flowers added, rather than a bespoke background.

Package 3 An original A4 hand painted illustration, with one or more illustrated characters, with beautifully depicted background of your choice, or using my suggestions (e.g. a flower field, beach scene, etc) (£55).

Package 4 An original A3 hand painted illustration, or family grouping, with an individualised scenic and an agreed background (£80+). Price may vary according to amount of people to depict, specialist background details and so on.
