Description
The design for these earrings was inspired by the beautiful art of filigree — think of these as being a contemporary twist on an ancient technique! Every part of the earrings is handmade, including the ear wires and jump rings. Each pair involves a significant amount of work – there are over 30 individual solder joints per earring!
The earrings are made to order, and as such, there will be subtle differences in each pair. The handmade nature of these earrings means the pair you receive may not look exactly like the ones in the photo above. This, however, is the beauty of handmade jewellery! Your earrings will be completely unique to you.
ABOUT VIVID VIXEN JEWELLERY:
Vivid Vixen Jewellery is my small handmade jewellery business. Every item is 100% handmade by me using traditional silversmithing techniques and recycled sterling silver. I am based in the beautiful Peak District, and I can regularly be found at craft fairs and events around the area (follow my socials to keep up to date with these events). PACKAGING & DELIVERY:
Every order from Vivid Vixen Jewellery comes in an elegant branded gift box, carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Unless stated otherwise, I post all items out within a maximum of two working days, and they are sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you require an item sooner, please get in touch before you place your order, and I will advise whether this is possible.
GIFT WRAPPING:
If you’d like to send a gift directly to someone special, just click the gift-wrapping option above. I will wrap the branded Vivid Vixen Jewellery box is tissue paper and secure it with ribbon, and I can even add a hand-written note of your choice.
HALLMARKING:
Under UK law, all precious metal items over a certain weight must be hallmarked by one of the four assay offices to confirm the purity of the metal. For silver, this applies to every item over 7.78 grams, and it is illegal to sell any sterling silver item over this weight unless it has been hallmarked. Vivid Vixen Jewellery is registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office, and every piece I sell complies with the UK hallmarking law. These earrings fall beneath the hallmarking threshold, and as such have not been hallmarked. Please be aware that a ‘.925’ stamp on jewellery is not a hallmark.
