A beautifully delicate free motion embroidery of a single stem purple cornflower.
I have drawn this flower many times in ink but particularly like ‘drawing’ it in thread, creating the fluid lines of the petals. I think it has a lovely, vintage illustration feel to it.
Framed ready to be gifted to a flower lover and romantic, or keep and enjoy, would suit many home decors and styles.
The art has been photographed without the glass, but it is included!
Frame size : 23cms x 18cms x 3cms
Frame can stand or be hung on the wall.
I can also gift wrap for you and add a personal message.

I have free motion machine embroidered this lovely cornflower really by eye, looking at the flower in front of me then guiding the fabric.
I have used shaded embroidery and metallic thread on linen fabric.
The frame is wood effect with a lovely soft rounded edge, which can be hung or freestanding.
