Hammered Wing Dangle Earrings Handmade in Sterling Silver

Description

These one of a kind, elegant drop earrings are hand cut into a unique hammered butterfly wing shape from solid sterling silver, before being textured using a rolling mill. They are suspended from handmade solid sterling silver hooks.

The texture is created using a hand cut paper template which is destroyed by the process – that means each pair of earrings in this series is completely unique, and no design will ever be exactly duplicated!

The wing dropper measures approximately 32mm x 18mm, while the total drop from the top of the hook to the base of the dropper is 40mm.

The silver used to create the dropper is 0.5mm thick, and has been shaped into a gentle curve. The front of the earring has been polished to catch the light, while the reverse has a subtle satin finish.

These are really wearable pair of modern drop earrings which look great for everyday wear or for more dressy occasions

Shipping and Packaging

Please note many of my items are made to order and will be dispatched within 3-5 working days. Where items are already made and in stock, it will be displayed on the listing page, I aim to dispatch these within one working day.

All jewellery will be shipped carefully wrapped in tissue paper and presented in a plastic free gift envelope, suitable for safe keeping of giving directly as a gift.

These are placed in tough board back envelopes for shipping which are letterbox friendly. I also include care instructions with each order.

Shipping within the UK is free for orders over £20 by Royal mail tracked 48.

Sterling silver Jewellery

All my items are made from solid 925 sterling silver, unless otherwise stated in the listing. All items over 7.78g will be fully hallmarked by the London assay office in accordance with UK law. Silver items under that weight do not legally require a hallmark, but will always be fully and accurately described in the listing in terms of the materials used and the alloy composition.

Please note I take great care to photograph my items as accurately as possible,  however as my items are handmade and unique, there may be occasional slight variations between the photograph and the item you receive, particularly for repeated designs.

These variations will only ever be very small differences, for example on a hand hammered finish, and reflect the unique nature of handcrafted jewellery.

If an item is described as being ‘one of a kind’ however, then the item in the photograph is the exact item you will receive.
