Discover the charm of this handmade wool needle case, inspired by practical sewing accessories of the 1940s. Crafted from a burnt orange boiled wool with soft blue wool felt pages, each piece is hand embroidered by me, making every needle case one of a kind.

Its compact semi-circular shape is finished with a decorative light bronze metal clasp, giving it a subtle vintage feel while keeping your needles safely stored.

Description

Despite its small size, this needle case is designed to hold a variety of needle sizes securely. Measuring approximately 8.5cm in length and 4.5cm wide, it’s ideal for popping into a sewing basket, project bag, or taking along when travelling.

Practical, tactile, and made to be used, it’s a small but thoughtful addition to any sewing kit.

Each needle case is lovingly handmade in my home studio overlooking Ilkley Moor in West Yorkshire. In keeping with the William & Tilda make do and mend ethos, these cases are created using end rolls and offcuts from other projects, helping to minimise waste while celebrating beautiful materials.

Because of this, subtle variations in fabric placement and embroidery are part of what makes each piece unique.

Orders will be processed and dispatched within 1-3 business days.

Items will be carefully packaged to protect your purchase during shipping.

Orders will be posted using Royal Mail first class - I currently only post to addresses in mainland UK.

In the unlikely event that an item needs to be returned please contact me within 14 days and return item within 28 days of order date. Any items returned must be unused, in re-sellable condition and in their original packaging.

Buyers will be responsible for return postage costs and it is advised that items are returned using a tracked and insured service, as refunds can only be issued once the item has been received.
