Description
Bring a touch of handcrafted festive charm to your Christmas with this set of three hand-illustrated cards from my studio, The Illustrarium. This collection features my original seasonal designs — Cosy & Warm, Merry & Bright, and Folk Xmas Bird based on one of my personal favourite garden birds the beautiful song thrush.
Each card celebrates the magic of the season — from the comfort of a steaming hot chocolate to the nostalgia of a gingerbread house and the elegance of a crowned thrush surrounded by an intricate hand painted folk art design. Inspired by traditional folk motifs, Scandinavian patterns, and woodland flora, these designs capture the warmth, texture, and whimsy of a truly handmade Christmas.
I create all my artwork by hand here in my Devon studio, before refining and preparing it for professional printing in the UK. Each card is printed with water-based inks on luxurious 350 gsm FSC-certified recycled card, making them fully recyclable, vegan-friendly, and made with responsibly sourced materials.
Perfect for sending heartfelt festive messages or framing as little pieces of seasonal art, these cards make beautiful keepsakes for lovers of nature, illustration, and British artisan design.
