Handcrafted Dainty Silver Heart and lime green Sea-glass Dangly Earrings

£55.00

A handmade and one-off pair of super small fine silver hearts based on a tiny, fossilised stone I found on the beach at Barton on Sea in Hampshire.

Each heart also has a charm of a tiny piece of the palest green sea glass wrapped in the thinnest fine silver wire.  These are truly unique and would make a particularly special gift for a loved one who is a fan of nature and the sea.   These are one of a limited edition series of silver heart pieces which are all based on heart-shaped beach stones I have found on the South Coast.   The tiny stone on which these hearts are based is from Barton-on-Sea, and contains some teeny fossil pieces.  The addition of the sea glass makes these particularly special and original – as each individual piece of sea glass is completely unique, and finding two matching tiny nuggets has taken a lot of careful sorting and pairing.  The very pale lime green colour is also a less common sea glass.

If you gift these you will know that no-one else will have a pair of earrings like it.  The hearts were made using silver clay and a mould of the original tiny stone.  The pale unusual lime-green sea glass is from my collection from Seaham in County Durham.

Details: The fine silver hearts each measure 1 x 1 x 0.3cm (approx. max. dimensions).  Wire-wrapped Sea glass nuggets measure approx. 0.8 x 0.4.  They hang from a sterling silver hook.  Total earring drop from top of hook approx. 3cm.

The earrings will arrive wrapped in pale green tissue paper fastened with linen thread, in a Hugged by Nature kraft pillow-box.  A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also popped in the box, which is then tied with thread and a gift tag added.

POSTAGE INCLUDED: The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Description

A truly original gift for someone special in your life.  These earrings are part of a limited series of handmade silver hearts based on original heart shaped stones I have collected from the various beaches I have visited over a number of years. COMMISSIONS:  You may also like to know that I love taking special requests and commissions – perhaps to celebrate a special birthday or event, or maybe just to turn a favourite ‘something’ you have collected into a piece of jewellery you can wear.   So if you’d like to talk about creating something truly unique and bespoke for you or someone in your life please do get in touch, I’d love to help. Previous commissions have included turning a customer’s own sea-glass into a necklace, handcrafting a Bramble flower for a 21st birthday, recreating a dangly Catkin for a favourite sister or some coffee bean earrings for a Barista.   It’s also worth knowing that commissions don’t necessarily cost more than items in the shop – it depends what you have in mind – so it’s always worth a no-strings chat.

I aim to minimise the amount of packaging I use when sending items to reduce waste, whilst also seeking to present the everyday treasures beautifully, and to treat the jewellery as the delicate and beautiful treasure it is, ensuring its safe passage through the British postal system!
All materials used for gift wrapping and packing are made from recycled and/or recyclable materials, which are sustainably sourced and British made where possible!

Sounds obvious, but please carefully check that the details of the mailing address you have given are correct before confirming your order, especially if it is a gift and is being sent to an address that is different from the billing address.

Returns and Refunds

All of my pieces are handmade with a lot of love and I take great pride in everything I make, and in seeing a smile on your face! I am a strong believer in hand-made meaning quality and also that because each piece is individually made by hand there sometimes may be irregularities on the surface reflecting the organic nature of the materials I work with , which creates truly one of a kind pieces.

I also know that occasionally things might go awry, and if you find that you have a problem with your item please contact me straight away so we can discuss how best to resolve the situation.
