Description

A stunning black and taupe tray with metallic hi lights. Rectangular with soft dark grey frame. Stunning Italian marbled paper applied and finish with cord to leave a neat finish. Finished with a glass cover is applied to give a robust and heat proof finish. Reverse is table friendly with soft feet.

New for the Spring!

I was looking for something to re purpose, reclaim and make useful again. I found a beautiful tray in a store and thought I would have a go!  I look for different shapes and sizes. I think metal and wood provide the right weight and surface. I usually paint and varnish the wooden ones to give them a new lease of life.

I put the pattern on, sourced from lots of different places. This does mean I sometimes can’t repeat the design, but I will try!
Finished with a glass cover.

I have made some smaller trays, or coffee trays! Small enough for a side table, mug of coffee and a biscuit or two. Very pretty and they make a lovely gift.

All my trays are different by the nature of hunting around second hand shops, markets, occasionally they have beautiful patinas, lump and bumps but I think this adds to their authenticity and charm. They are perfect for a table, side board and on an ottoman, a decorative statement.

Avoid very hot items such as candles unless on a coaster. Dust with a soft cloth.
