Dichroic Glass Necklace – Handmade Gift for Her

This beautiful handmade dichroic glass necklace was crafted in my home studio in Blackpool using a multi-step process that brings out stunning iridescent colours. Layers of dichroic glass were carefully arranged on a base of white glass, then kiln-fired to fuse them together. After cooling, the glass was cut to shape and returned to the kiln for a second firing, giving it a smooth, glossy finish.

Once the piece had cooled again, it was precisely drilled and fitted with a silver-plated pinch bail, then threaded onto an elegant 18-inch silver-plated chain with a secure lobster clasp. The pendant itself measures approximately 4 cm long and 2.5 cm wide—an eye-catching piece that’s still lightweight and comfortable to wear.

It’s presented in a box, making it gift-ready. To help prevent tarnishing, I recommend storing the necklace in the box when not in use.
