Handmade Fine Silver Drop Earrings – Real Leaf

Beautiful, elegant drop earrings made from real Traveller’s Joy leaves.  This is the closest to gardening that I get, picking leaves that have an interesting shape and texture.  Starting with almost liquid clay, I paint over the surface of the leaf.  Once each layer is dry, thicker and thicker silver clay paste is added layer by layer until approximately 20 layers thick.  Once it’s completely dry 24 hrs later it’s fired, the leaf and all the organic clay component is burnt away leaving 99.9% pure silver.  A perfect replica of the leaf it was painted onto.
