The picture shows a stack of five booklets titled 'A Wartime Christmas'. The booklet sits on a rich brown wooden table top which compliments the blue cover of the booklet. The cover shows the title text wrapped around a drawing of a laughing Santa, all in red. Underneath is a photo of the finished reusable fabric crackers, made to the pattern from 1940s wartime Britain.
