Fordite, also known as Detroit Agate is a unique enamel material made from layers of car paint that has hardened sufficiently to be cut, shaped and polished into an alternative gemstone.  It is such a cool material – the ultimate in upcycling and saving a waste material that would end up in landfill.  Every piece is unique!
