Handcrafted Monstera earrings. These earrings are created using the medium of micro crochet.
Micro crochet jewellery is very light to wear. Using a 0.5mm crochet hook and recycled, reused sewing thread, these beautiful botanical pieces are crafted within 4 hours.
The Monstera pieces are inspired by my love of green houseplants that are dotted around my environment as I craft and create.
Plants bring me immense joy, and the idea of wearing plants began when I was a young teenager. I used to thread flowers through the earring hole in my ears, especially daisies and fuchsias.
Monstera’s are slightly too big to attempt, and these days, I have decided that creating permanent wearable options may be a better idea.
As these are created with a reused and recycled thread, they are a semi-limited edition. Once that thread has been used, this particular shade and textile will no longer be available.
