“Bluebell Falls.”
Imagine yourself, sitting by a babbling brook, surrounded by a sea of intense sapphire blue. Take a deep breath and inhale the heady scent that fills the air. You are sitting in an English woodland surrounded by a profusion of enchanting bluebells in the merry month of May.
This stunning textile wall hanging will instantly transport you to this magical place.
The tumbling stream is made of white satin enhanced with white fur fabric and angelina fibres .
The surrounding moss-covered rocks were constructed on an embellisher that meshes fabrics and fibres together. They are slightly padded.
The 3D bluebells are made of white satin which has been painted with textile paint. This was then treated with a 50/50 solution of PVA glue and water to prevent fraying when I cut the bells out.
Some were then shaped with a hot millinery tool before being attached with embroidery thread.
” Blue Falls” will make a beautiful focal point in any room.
It is an original work of art made solely by myself.
