Description
Stunning textile of Craig Goch in full flow.
This is one of the top dam in the Elan Valley and has a road running over it. An area of outstanding beauty in Mid Wales.
I worked from a photo I had taken when the water was roaring over the dam. A sight to behold for the eyes and years.
The water tower is intricately detailed and show cases it’s famous copper dome turned green with age. The stone worked was constructed on an embellisher which meshes fabrics together. It has been padded and further embellished with stitching.
I have cleverly incorporated textured wall paper into the water along with fur fabric and yarns to create this wonderful surge of gushing water.
By contrast the mountains beyond have been worked lightly with the exception of the bracken area.
Size 21 ins. square.
This is an original work of art made solely by myself.
It has a hanging sleeve on the reverse.
Comes complete with hanging baton.
The artwork will be sprayed with a fabric protector before being dispatched.
