“Letting Go” Creates a calming and serene environment in your home and acts as a therapeutic reminder to let go of emotions. This textile work of art represents a Tsunami of challenging emotions I have experienced during the last couple of years. It is a compelling piece that uses many unusual fabrics to create a multitude of watery cascades, each releasing and letting go of deep emotions. White fur fabric, feathers, lace, netting, white satin, and angelina fibres have all been used to create the glistening crystal clear streams flowing down. I have used luminous turquoise resin attached with glass beads to represent the flowing water at the bottom. The whole has been further embellished with both free machine embroidery and hand embroidery.
The unique combination of materials makes this a special piece.
This is an original work of art made solely by myself.
It has a hanging sleeve on the reverse. Baton included.
The artwork will be treated with a fabric protector before being dispatched.
