This shell puddle ornament is created using real shells collected from Shetland’s shoreline, carefully arranged and set in clear resin to form a tiny “puddle” of beach treasures. Each shell holds a miniature scene, with small pebbles, shells and natural details suspended as if caught in a shallow rock pool.
The organic shapes and soft coastal colours give each piece a calm, natural feel, celebrating the simple beauty found while beachcombing. No two shell puddles are ever the same, making every ornament a truly unique keepsake inspired by the sea.
Perfect as a small decorative piece for shelves, desks or windowsills, this ornament makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of the coast and handmade art.
I collect shells from the beaches around the Shetland Islands and make things out of them!
I have a choice of 3 large shells filled with clear resin with added treasures for decoration.
A lovely souvenir from Shetland and cool ornament. Each one is slightly different.
