Description
Sold individually, these unique and contemporary pendants are each made entirely by hand from a twisted ribbon of silver that has been imprinted with a floral vine design and formed into a small scroll. Each one is paired with a 45cm/18″ solid sterling silver belcher chain.
The silver scrolls in these necklaces are made from strips of solid sterling silver, and measure approximately 30mm long (not including the uppermost hanging rings) and 12mm wide – with the ribbon strips themselves being 10mm wide.
They have a lovely weight and a tactile feel, and although they have been made to the same design each one is totally unique in pattern. As they have been formed by hand, they are also unique in shape.
These subtleties do mean that the necklace received may differ slightly from those shown in the images, but you are more than welcome to send a message if you wish to select your own exact piece from the ones I have available in stock.
The silver has been given an oxidising patina to bring out the detail in the floral pattern, and then polished to a high shine.
The necklace is 45cm/18″ in length and made up of 1.7mm thick belcher chain (also known as ‘rolo’ style chain), which is strung from the pendant through three smaller 7mm silver rings which are entwined in a ‘lovers knot’.
A lovely, modern piece of one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewellery – and a perfect gift for those who love their jewellery to be a little different yet still hold a vintage boho vibe!
About The Packaging & Shipping
All jewellery will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in either a hessian/cotton fabric bag or cardboard gift box, and sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.
Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail’s ‘Tracked 24’ service, with an optional upgrade to Special Delivery available for an additional charge at checkout if required.
If the item is a gift and you wish it to be sent direct to the recipient, then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.
If an item is not packaged in a gift box as standard, then the option to upgrade to one will be made available within an individual listing – an additional charge will be applied to cover any increased postage costs. You can see a picture of my packaging in the ‘vendor biography’.
I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrades in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority and more accurate tracking within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
Please be aware that I am unable to guarantee specific delivery times of orders once posted.
Gift Messaging
If your purchase is a gift and you wish to include a handwritten message on a tag then I am more than happy to provide this service free of charge, regardless of packaging choice. Please include any details in the drop-down menu option. As mentioned before, if you wish the item to be sent direct to the recipient then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.
If there is anything else at all that you would like to know about a particular item then please don’t hesitate to send me a message and I’ll do my best to help!
Thank you for looking!

About The Jewellery & The Materials I Use
I mainly work with fine silver, 925 sterling silver and 935 argentium sterling silver. The latter is a fairly new alloy which is stronger, brighter, and whiter than traditional sterling and is highly tarnish resistant.
Argentium is also hypoallergenic, making it great for those who have an allergy to traditional sterling silver. I also use copper and brass in my work and often combine it with silver to create more striking mixed-metal designs.
PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with British law, all silver items over 7.78 grams will be hallmarked by The London Assay Office, complete with my maker’s mark ‘KAT’. The exact Hallmarking stamp for metal type will be governed by the lowest classification grade of silver in a piece, which in the majority of cases for my work will be 925 sterling silver. Items under 7.78 grams in weight are not required to be hallmarked by law, but any description will always accurately state the exact composition of metals used. For more information please see the London Assay Office Dealer’s Notice HERE.
Product Images
Every item I make is handcrafted by me to my own designs. Due to the nature of the materials and techniques used, many pieces are unique and ‘one of a kind’, especially when featuring sea glass or other natural materials.
Honesty and accuracy is important to me and most things will be listed and photographed individually – if an item is described as being ‘one of a kind’ then the pictures you see will be of the exact item that will be received by a customer.
If I do create a design that can be accurately reproduced then I may make more than one at a time. This means the same images may be used on repeat listings, where due to the nature of handmade jewellery manufacturing methods there may be some very slight differences or variations between the item shown in photographs and the actual one received.
I will only do so if these variations are absolutely minimal, and in all cases you are always welcome to request more information or images for any item I have for sale before making a purchase.
Care Recommendations
All the jewellery I sell is handmade and as such requires special treatment to ensure its longevity. Aftercare advice on how to best take care of your jewellery is provided in a leaflet and included with all orders.
Please take care to protect it from contact with such things as perfumes, hair sprays, moisturisers and cleaning fluids etc which may contain ingredients that can tarnish or otherwise affect the materials from which it is made. Bleach products in particular can very quickly tarnish silver metals.
Sea glass is somewhat toughened by the tumbling process it has undergone, but ultimately it is still glass and needs to be treated appropriately. In the event that it should become marked or scratched on the surface, a gentle cleaning with a soft brush (such as a toothbrush) and some soapy water should help fix this.
