Universal round handcrafted pebble inspired charm/pendant in recycled 950 solid sterling silver. Designed for everyday wear as either a pendant hanging on a chain or on a charm beaded bracelet and is made with your loved ones ashes set into the silver itself.
This charm named ‘Serenity’ is designed to help you stay true to yourself. The definition of serenity is a state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled. Achieving this positive state of mind means you won’t feel as troubled by life’s ups and downs.
Your individual charm will fit all major brands of charm bracelets, including those charms that screw on: this special charm does not screw but will still fit those bracelets.
Serenity was designed with a smooth pebble shape in mind and is smaller and more uniform is design than the other engraved charm that I make. Throughout history, pebbles have held deep symbolic meaning in many cultures. In Ancient Greek mythology, pebbles were seen as representing the human soul. Smooth pebbles were also carried as good luck charms by some cultures across North America. Pebbles are also thought to have grounding, hope, healing, and protective energies.
Ordering Process:
After purchase, please place your ashes in a clearly labeled sealed bag or doubled up envelope (not a container, as I will be unable to return it due to your item being sent in a ‘large letter’ sized box). Include your full name and address attached to your keepsake inside the parcel. Note that the process time of 1-6 weeks starts once I receive your keepsake. If you need it sooner, please contact me before ordering to confirm the timeline.
Any unused ashes will be returned with your special made order.
How they are made, Sizes and Details.
All my items are handcrafted and bespoke so there may be small differences between pieces that make them unique. Sometimes the ashes can slightly show in the silver so it looks like it has slight textures to the metal, whereas other times it is a lot smoother in appearance.
The ashes are added to the sterling silver ‘clay’ and then kiln baked, becoming part of the pendant/ charm and incorporated within the metal itself. So, your keepsake can’t be any more secure (there are no screws or ways for the ashes to fall out, like some designs out there).
This charm is handcrafted in 950 sterling silver clay in a round bead mold so it is therefore quite uniform in shape. The clay is first weighed out and hand sculpted with your loved ones ashes mixed in, this is to ensure only your ashes are added to that clay piece. Then its dried and kiln fired. Once out of the kiln I place it in the tumbling machine to be polished. All my items are handcrafted and although I do try to make each piece identical, there will be some very small differences that make them unique.
Approximately 18 mm wide and 5 mm thick.
Packaging
I handle all keepsakes with dignity and care, ensuring heartfelt, quality pieces of jewellery every time.
All items come packaged in a beautiful branded pouch with ribbon around it and is accompanied with tissue paper, silver cleaning cloth and care card on how to best care for your jewellery for years to come.
Shipping
Shipping costs are already included within the UK and are sent via Royal Mail 48hr, with optional upgrades available at a charge. Please be aware these times are estimate only and I cannot offer any guarantee on delivery times once it’s in the hands of the postal service.
Gifting and Gift Wrapping
If you are purchasing as a gift then you have the option for a free gift card to be hand written and added in along with your gift, please add details in the Handwritten Giftcard box above.
Upgrading to gift wrapping for £1.00 includes having the box or pouch that the gift is placed in being wrapped in a complimenting style paper with a ribbon around. It is then placed in the outer cardboard box with all the additional care cards, tissue paper and silver cleaning cloth as mentioned above.
If your item is being sent as a gift then please be sure to update the mailing address on checkout before you complete your order. I can hold no responsibility for items being sent to to the wrong person due to an incorrect address.

PROCESSING TIME & DELIVERY INFORMATION
Thank you for supporting my small business. Once your order is placed, I will begin processing it as soon as possible. Processing times vary depending on the range and are listed below. If you’ve ordered multiple items, they will be shipped together based on the longest processing time.
While I always strive to dispatch orders quickly, please be aware that during busy periods I may need the full time listed. If there is ever a delay beyond the stated timeframe, I will email you in advance.

Customs Fees: I cannot take responsibility for any duties or import fees incurred—please check your local regulations before purchasing.
Box & Postage Note:
Only two jewellery gift boxes fit per delivery package. If you require more boxes, or if you are ordering from outside the UK or upgrading your delivery, additional postage fees may apply. If unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Refund Policy
RETURNS & CONDITIONS
Please note that unless an item is damaged or faulty, I am not legally obliged to accept returns for personalised or custom-made items that cannot be resold. This includes the entire Sterling Ash Designs range, all sized rings, wedding bands, commissions, and other personalised items across my collections.
DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take clear photographs BEFORE opening the packaging. Once opened, take additional photos of the item and any damage. This helps support any postal claims and ensures a swift resolution.
If you believe your item is faulty, please get in touch with detailed photographs of the issue so I can assess and advise.

NON-FAULTY RETURNS
Postage Costs:
Buyers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged (as above). I strongly recommend using a tracked postal service.
Item Condition:
Returns must be unworn, in their original condition, and returned with undamaged original packaging. Any reduction in value due to wear, damage, or missing packaging will be deducted from your refund.
International Returns:
Clearly mark the package as ‘RETURNED GOODS’ to help avoid unnecessary customs fees.
Proof of Postage:
Obtain and keep a receipt or proof of postage from your Post Office.
