Crafted from mixed textiles to include velvet, brocades and silks this pheasant makes a stunning statement to any wall.
The wonderful arch of the embroidered tail feathers gives great movement to this piece which is made in rich hues of purples, lilacs, pinks and gold. The piece has been richly free embroidered with masses of applique.
The pheasant is pictured feasting on blackberries which have fallen from a branch. The undergrowth is very textural and features fallen leaves which spill out onto the batik border and lush hand crafted fringe.
The artwork id bound with a complimentary batik fabric on 3 sides. The bottom edge is finished with a lush fringe.
This piece has a hanging sleeve on the back. Hanging baton included.
