Description
This lovely set of bookends features a mix of pink, white, clear and cerise iridescent stained glass on a painted solid oak base.
I used streaky opals, striker glass and dichroic to create these art deco style bookends. The solder lines are bright silver coated with canuba wax t inhibit tarnish. They can be buffed with a soft cloth.
These bookends are versatile in that you can place a light behind them to turn them into lamps or turn them into suncatchers by placing in a brightly lit window as well utilising them as practical bookends.
The oak is painted with Farrow & Ball in a shade called ‘downpipe’ which is a dark matt grey.
Approx measurements 16.5 cms x 16.5 cms
There are felt feet at the bottom of the bookends.
These make an ideal wedding gift, housewarming gift or birthday present, or just treat yourself.

Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase. If you fail to cancel within the 24 hour time frame, I may have already shipped the item out, in which case you will be liable for return postage.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Refunds will be given if goods are unsuitable so long as they have not been damaged on return through insufficient or poor packaging by the buyer.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs on unwanted items. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
If an item arrives damaged in the post, then it's imperative you take photos of both packaging and item and send to me. Without this I cannot offer refunds as Royal Mail do not offer compensation without photos of damaged goods.
There are no refunds on items that are damaged until the item is returned to The Pocket Emporium. When I receive it, you will get your refund plus the postage it cost to return the damaged item to us.
The Pocket Emporium is not liable for any damage to your products that occurs in your home due to breakage, knocking, dropping etc. We are only liable while your item is in transit. Once it has been signed for and accepted all other damages are void.
ALWAYS ENSURE YOU RETURN GLASS ITEMS BOXED WITHIN A BOX WITH ADEQUATE PACKING and MARKED FRAGILE. FAILURE TO DO THIS MAY RESULT IN YOUR REFUND BEING REJECTED.
INCORRECT ADDRESS ENTRY FROM THE BUYER
If you enter an incorrect address for your purchase I cannot refund or return item once it has been sent out and you fail to receive it.
Royal Mail do not designate safe places to leave items in the same way couriers do. I will always let you know what day I post out. Any parcels that are left in a bin, doorstep, or other 'safe place' and go missing, will not warrant a refund and insurance on them is void. This is why items are sent out Signed For, as they should be returned to your postal depot should you not be in to receive it, for later collection or redelivery.
The Pocket Emporium cannot be responsible for delays in postage.
