Sterling Silver and Petrol Blue Clay Leaf Earrings

Description

This one of a kind pair of geometric leaf shaped earrings comprise of handmade sterling silver frames, filled with pearlescent petrol blue polymer clay and backed with teal resin. They hang from sterling silver hook wires.
Although they appear multi-shaded, only one colour of clay has been used, but it has been manipulated in such a way to bring out the chatoyancy of the material (akin to the effect seen in tiger’s eye stones). They have been sanded and polished to give a satin finish.

All of my clay is mixed by hand, in small batches, to ensure each piece is unique.
