Welcome to my larger series of seascapes.
I make original mixed media art measuring 64 x 44 cm, signed and ready to hang.
Living on The Shetland Islands it is impossible not to be drawn to the ocean. Each picture is a combination of epoxy resin mixed with high quality pigments, poured onto a wood board. Followed by a painted layer and finished off with a clear glossy layer of resin. Each piece of artwork is special and original.
This is a stunning piece of art featuring one of our big boats The Charisma from the island of Whalsay.
I have tried to capture the power and beauty of the ocean. The resin creates a realistic wave effect, giving the painting a sense of movement and energy. Thank you for looking at my work.
