Handcrafted using carefully collected yellow and honey-toned beach shells from the Shetland coastline, these brooches celebrate the subtle beauty of natural coastal finds. Each shell is individually selected and set in clear resin, allowing the shapes, textures and warm colours to remain the focus.

Every brooch is one of a kind, with natural variations in shell size, arrangement and tone. The organic forms make them easy to wear on coats, scarves or knitwear, adding a quiet statement inspired by the shoreline.

Made by hand in my Shetland studio, these brooches are small, wearable artworks that reflect the islands’ connection to sea, beachcombing and place. Measures 3.5 – 4cm

As a keen beach comber I love to collect and preserve shells and seaweed I find from around The Shetland Islands, Scotland.

This collection is extra special as the yellow & orange periwinkle shell used was collected from the tiny island I grew up on – Whalsay. I use the best quality crystal clear epoxy resin to set my tiny shells into.

I have 4 designs to choose from.
