Description

If your looking for knock out blues you have just found them.
” Delphiniums Blue” is just that. An imposing portrayal of these stunning plants in glorious blues. A touch of rust/ginger adds a stunning contrast.
The stately spires are constructed out of hand dyed strips of a lacy fabric. These have been further enhanced by scraps of fabric to add texture and contrasting centres. The whole is heavily machine embroidered with some hand embroidery in chain stitch to emphasise the upward thrust of these magnificent flowers. My fav. garden plant.
The generous border uses seminole patchwork in a multitube of blue fabrics. I have woven velvet yarn down the sides of the panels to add texture and movement. Chain stitch runs from the centre panel down the borders to give a continuous feel.

This textile wall hanging comes ready to hang. Includes a hanging baton.

This is an original work of art made solely by myself.
The piece will be treated with a fabric protector before being dispatched.
