Our spectacular Oak tree bird feeder tree stand and metal tree, sculpture in mild steel with a preserving wax finish with 12 colourful stainless steel leaves . Often ordered as a personalised family tree, the sculpture can be engraved with the names of family members on the leaves from grandparents to grandchildren as we work up the tree. A truly unique gift for a special birthday, golden, or diamond wedding anniversary, in a myriad of colours from copper, gold pinks, purples and blues.
The architectural sculpture Oak Tree is art for the garden, catching the sunlight light, giving you a spectacular focal point to your garden design, enhancing your view in all seasons. Designed by sculptor Mark Reed, it is made in our family Norfolk studio on our fruit farm.
Made from mild steel with a preserving waxed finish, it has a natural wood-like look and can be left to weather naturally or just reapply beeswax as required.
Item Description:
This sculptural bird feeding station has been designed as three separate components which makes assembly effortless, and it can be easily moved around the garden.
Dimensions (approx.) : h 226cm x w 70cm x d-62cm , our complete height is measured from the top of the tree to the bottom of the pole, once base has been pushed into the ground.
The Oak leaf bird feeder tree sculpture is in 3 components:
1. Tree top: dimensions- h-110cm x w-70cm x d- 62cm
2. Pole: dimensions- h- 116cm, diameter of pole 1.9cm.
3. Base: dimensions- h- 46cm x w-21cm x d- ( into ground) 30cm, in the shape of a star, with 4 prongs.
There are 12 colourful oak leaves varying in size attached around the beautiful tree sculpture to provide decoration and balance, catching the sun’s rays.
The branches are constructed of 6,8 and 10mm mild steel so hold a large amount of weight and are really sturdy. The lowest branch starts at approximately 120cm from ground level and there are at least ten hanging points around the tree which will provide ample placements for all your bird seed feeders or perching spots for the birds, who love it! . A nut can be found attached to one of the lower branches, for the flower bird seed feeders and bird bath , if you would like one in the future.
The English Oak (quercus robur) supports more wildlife than any other UK native tree, and the Celts revered than as a symbol of truth, courage and wisdom.
This tree can also double as a stunning ornamental piece by covering in fairy lights which looks beautiful on a summer’s evening or in the more festive months of winter as a Christmas tree.
All the leaves can be engraved to commemorate and remember loved ones, anniversaries, pets or as birthday, retirement, and wedding gifts. We often make the tree sculpture as a family tree, with names of grandparents to children and grandchildren personalised on the leaves for 60th, 70th and 80th birthday gifts.
Remember a loved on as a memorial gift and we can engrave a poem, or name on the leaves.
Furthermore we have been commissioned for this tree sculpture to as a pets memorial to remember loved pets, both past and present.
