Handmade Fine Silver Dainty Botanical Juniper Drop Earrings

Description

These dainty solid silver drop earrings feature an imprint of a juniper berry and leaf, from the plant growing in my garden.

My plant and floral imprint designs are all made using silver clay, which is rolled and cut to size, and onto which is imprinted leaves, berries or flowers from herbs and plants growing in my garden, or responsibly gathered from the meadows, woods and hedgerows near me.  Once fired, sanded and polished I brush on liver of sulphur to create aged effects to highlight the imprint designs, and sealed/protected with a rubbed on wax coating.

Each individual earring is made by hand, and to retain the organic nature of both the process and the materials I use, I leave some of the irregularities on the surface – as with these earrings where the scratchiness of the leaves surrounding the main imprint has been left.  As a result no two earrings and no two pairs of earrings are exactly the same (so even if you find another pair of juniper imprint earrings in my shop, they won’t be the same as these!).

Measurements

• Total drop 2.5cm from top of hook
• Silver disc approx. 1cm diameter.

The hooks and joining rings are solid Sterling Silver.

Perfect everyday wear and as a gift to yourself or someone else (especially for a gin lover)!

All my items will arrive wrapped in pale green recycled tissue paper fastened with linen thread, and in a recycled kraft pillow-box.  A little handwritten note explaining a bit about the piece is also included. Additional gift wrap options are available.

The pillow box is sent in a recycled cardboard box filled with eco-friendly, responsibly sourced UK wood wool.

The package will be shipped in 1-3 days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 which is included.  Other delivery methods are available on request.
