Reminiscent of the sun setting on the beach and are inspired by the beach where I grew up in Nairn in the Highlands of Scotland, these gorgeous earrings are half textured with a finish like the ripples of the sea and half with a smooth bright layer of gold these earrings are ideal for everyday wear and the perfect gift for any celebration.

Description

Handcrafted a my home studio in Edinburgh but inspired by the beach at Nairn these silver and gold earrings made using some of the slightly more modern silver work techniques and materials namely silver clay and accent gold for silver, alongside sterling silver. See below for further details on the processes.

DIMENSIONS

Approximately 5mm or 9mm in diameter, weighing approx 0.3g and 0.6g respectively (per earring)

MATERIALS

Fine Silver, 24K Gold, sterling silver (ear posts and scrolls)

The earrings will be sent as standard on a Ticketyboo Coo earring card in a branded grey cotton gift bag. If you would prefer to upgrade to a gift box though please select the gift box upgrade when you check out.

Silver Clay is made from microscopic particles of pure silver (much of it recycled) embedded in an organic binder. The clay can be rolled, molded, stamped and textured before it’s dried and then fired. During the firing process the binder burns away and the end result is a beautiful piece of silver which is 99.9% pure. With such a high silver content, tarnishing is minimal and all that is required is a quick buff with a silver polish cloth from time to time to keep its shine.

24k accent gold for silver works in much the same way as silver clay except its in a paste form. It is applied to the silver and will fuse on firing to add beautiful accents of gold on the jewellery.PACKAGING & SHIPPING:

As standard all earrings are beautifully presented on a Ticketyboo Coo earring card, safely enclosed in a grey cotton gift bag.

If you would like to upgrade the packaging to a ticketyboo coo gift box tied with a ribbon, you can do so by selecting the gift packaging upgrade option.

Regardless of the packaging option that you choose you can be assured your item will be beautifully presented and delivered to you in a safe and efficient manner.

Shipping within the United Kingdom is included and purchases will be sent via Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 service. Currently my shop is only set up for posting within the United Kingdom, if you live outside the UK and are interested in something please do get in touch with me and I will happily investigate the postage options.

Handmade with love from start to finish. Everything is handmade by me at my home studio in Edinburgh. Using both traditional and modern techniques, only the highest quality materials and a little bit of love. I’m a firm believer in anything is possible and love nothing better than sitting at my bench without a plan to see what I can make.

It isn’t possible to detect the precious metal content of a piece of jewellery by sight or touch. Therefore, if it’s described as being made of or containing precious metals and weighs above 7.78g for silver and 1g for gold then, it is a legal requirement for it to be hallmarked as such by an Assay Office. I’m registered with the Edinburgh Assay Office and will always ensure that my work is hallmarked according to the necessary UK regulations.

Refund Policy

Having happy customers is one of the things I love most about my job. If there are any issues or concerns with your purchase, I am more than happy to discuss and accept returns. Please contact me via email (theticketyboocoo@gmail.com) within 7 days of receiving your order and return any items to me within 14 days.

Please return all items in fully a re-saleable condition, i.e. unworn and unaltered and in the original packaging. As soon as the returned item is received a refund will be issued. Shipping costs cannot be refunded unless an item is faulty.
