I have formed silver filled wire into an asymmetrical heart shape, twisted silver around part of the heart, created an elegant silver swirl and an intricate wire weave detail including a pretty red crystal bead. The pendant is completed with a silver plated chain.
Width 2.8 cm (1 inch) length 3.8 cm (1 1/2 inches) necklace length 44.5 cm (17 1/2 inches) all measurements are approximate.
Silver Filled Wire
Silver filled wire is 10% sterling silver filled copper wire (sterling silver bonded to a copper centre). It has a much thicker layer of sterling silver than silver plated wire and is more durable.
