Vendor Biography

I’m Claire Sheehan – an artist with a love of many different types of crafting beautiful things! I got started painting with some online art courses when I was on maternity leave for my twins – who are now somehow at senior school!

It has been a blessing to have a creative outlet and many of my creations have a wellbeing or love/ care element to them.

I make both handmade, handcrafted items, I’ve also made a range of items using UK manufacturers and now have the ability to sublimate items at my home studio meaning there will be even more ways I can give you gifts and treats for your own wellbeing and soul care that you can use as reminders or special gifts of this amazing world we live in.

I am inspired by the world around me, and by spirituality and wellbeing. I love to get outside and a few years ago we created a wonderful outside space for me to work in – sometimes the family comes in to chill out too!

Favourite things apart from creating from my heart are time with family and friends, a nice cup of tea, a lovely cafe, a good book and a lovely place to visit and inspire my next creation.

I am taking part in an MA in Creative Practice and look forwards to seeing how it informs my art this year and beyond.
