Vendor Biography
Elaine Farmer
Elaine Farmer is a West Midlands based artist, teacher and workshop provider, who originally studied a BA Hons. in Craft Studies: Ceramics and Textiles at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London.
Elaine’s colourful mosaic creations are hand made using vitreous and iridescent glass tiles, mirror and textured ceramic pieces which she models by hand and then, press moulds before glazing and firing. Most of Elaine’s pieces are decorative interior pieces but she enjoys working to commission and creates larger interior and exterior mosaic murals.
Elaine regularly holds a variety of mosaic workshops in her home studio in Sutton Coldfield and has developed a wide range of DIY Mosaic kits which include hand cut tiles and all the materials needed to make your own mosaic creations.
