Vendor Biography

Hi, I’m Sarah and I upcycle vintage and antique silver plated cutlery into beautiful handmade cutlery jewellery , spoon rings, teaspoon earrings even spoon Christmas decorations and antique fish cutlery book marks.

I live in the beautiful, Georgian market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire and my garden workshop, log cabin is a really lovely place to work from.

Each piece of cutlery I find will be carefully cut, shaped then polished and assembled , I use some traditional silver smithing techniques and some more engineering type methods, each piece is unique and I will try and include any snippets of the cutlery’s history.

Everything listed in my shop is already made , wrapped suitably to send directly as a gift and I include free post. This doesn’t mean they cannot be altered just contact me for a custom fit.

Upcycling, repurposing and saving these lovely little bits of history is a very important part of my motivation is to stop them going into landfill.

Apart from a love of history and antiques I also enjoy my garden, growing my own vegetables, cooking, walking and anything cat related.
