Vendor Biography

I’ve always loved sewing! There’s something so rewarding about taking a piece of fabric and transforming it into something practical, beautiful, and reusable.

My passion for sewing began when my Nan first introduced me to cross-stitch as a young girl. From there, I studied textiles in school and received my first sewing machine at around 14 years old. What started as a hobby—creating handmade gifts for friends and family—soon became a small business, thanks to the encouragement of a friend.

In Stitches by Tracey began with reusable Christmas fabric gift bags, which quickly became popular. I soon expanded the range to include gift bags for birthdays, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day. Over time, my collection has grown to include reusable cotton pads, breast pads, sandwich wraps, snack bags, fabric bookmarks, and scrunchies. Many of my newer products, such as scrunchies and eco sponges, are designed to reduce fabric waste by repurposing leftover fabric. Sustainability is at the heart of my business, and I strive to minimize waste wherever possible.

I love creating reusable alternatives to everyday single-use products, helping people reduce plastic waste, save money, and make eco-friendly swaps in their daily lives. Whether you’re looking to live more sustainably or searching for a unique, practical gift, my handmade items are a great choice.

As for the future of In Stitches by Tracey, I’m currently exploring more sustainable packaging options and developing new products.
