Sarah Kay is a Shetland-born multidisciplinary artist based in Scalloway, where she lives and works overlooking the sea. Her practice is deeply influenced by the islands’ rugged coastlines, shifting weather and unique light. Working primarily with resin, she incorporates sea glass, shells and shoreline finds collected from around Shetland, creating tactile pieces that reflect a strong sense of place. Each work captures the quiet beauty and raw atmosphere of island life, celebrating the relationship between land, sea and memory.
