Welcome to Silver Wave Jewellery

Hello, I’m Deborah – the designer and maker behind Silver Wave Jewellery.

From my home studio in Berkshire, UK, I create contemporary handmade jewellery using 925 sterling silver, copper and brass, crafting each piece slowly and thoughtfully by hand. Whether you’re searching for a meaningful gift or a special treat for yourself, you’ll find jewellery designed to be worn, loved and lived in.

I work with raw metal sheet and wire, shaping each design with an organic, rustic twist inspired by texture, movement and natural forms. Some pieces are finished with carefully chosen gemstones or beads to add subtle detail and depth. Texture plays a big role in my work – created using traditional jeweller’s hammers, burrs, lace, textured papers, folding, fusing and a rolling mill. Because of this hands-on process, no two pieces are ever exactly the same, making each design beautifully unique.

My jewellery journey began with a single one-day class in Bournemouth, where I made a bangle, ring and necklace – pieces I still wear today. That day sparked a passion that grew through further courses, weekly evening classes and eventually selling my work at art trails, craft fairs and local shops across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

As a small, independent business – just me – I design, make, photograph, pack and send every order myself. I take great pride in the quality of my work and strive to use recycled and sustainable materials wherever possible. Silver offcuts are often reused in new designs, resulting in truly individual one-off pieces.

I am registered with the London Assay Office, with sterling silver pieces over 7.78g hallmarked in accordance with UK regulations.

Each order is carefully wrapped in tissue paper, tied with ribbon and presented in a linen bag, ready for gifting. If you’re sending directly to someone special, I’m happy to include a handwritten note – just let me know when placing your order.
