Vendor Biography

Hi, I’m Mel – The Origami Soul.  I hand fold origami pieces to create works of art and mobiles to display in your home, unique and quirky origami gifts and cards for all occasions. My speciality is creating Origami Paper Cranes and especially for my 1st Paper Anniversary Gift Frames and Cards as Paper Gifts are given traditionally for the 1st Wedding Anniversary.

I fell in love with the art of folding origami in 2014. My work has developed over the years and today I include Origami Cranes in many of my peices because I love to recreate the tradition which dates back 500 years – Paper Cranes are given for Good Luck and Happiness and are the symbol for International Peace.

I work from my home studio based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
