Welcome — I’m Bev, the founder and maker behind The Mill House, where each melt is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in the old mill house that I live in, in Lancashire. I am in what some would call the Golden Years of my life and love being able to do something with my time that I love doing.
I have always been creative and my fragrance journey began during the quiet of the Covid lockdowns, when I started creating beeswax wax melts as wellbeing gifts for family and friends. What began as a simple act of care has evolved into a true passion — perfecting the art of blending and pouring luxurious, sustainable pet friendly, beeswax melts.
Every melt is handcrafted in small batches using pure beeswax, carefully sourced fine fragrance and essential oils, and a deep respect for our environment. Inspired by the gentle rhythm of nature and my love of bees, each fragrance is designed to bring a calm, cosy, warmth, tranquillity, and a touch of understated luxury to your home.
When I’m in the workshop, you’ll often find country music playing (a little louder than most would prefer, I don’t hear well!) and my loyal rescue dachshund, Ralph, keeping me company as create products I hope you will love as much as I love making them.
