I studied Art at college many years ago and have used that knowledge in various aspects of my career, most notably in furniture restoration where my studies helped immensely with use of colour.
Fast forward to the past few years and I was given a day course with a very well known Botanical artist who happened to live in our village. Strangely I was quite reluctant to go but I am so glad that I did. Since that day with odd exception of when I have been working or high days and holidays, I have drawn every day.
I am still perfecting my technique and will be forever and I am learning which direction I want to channel my efforts into and experimenting all the time.
I hope you get some pleasure out of my efforts, whether it’s a simple greetings card or a hand drawn original.
