Twisted by the Sea – Handmade Crochet Baby Gifts

I’m Jennie, a UK-based maker creating handmade crochet baby clothing and gifts, including booties, hats, cardigans and special keepsake sets. Every piece is carefully crocheted by hand using soft, high-quality yarns, with comfort, practicality and thoughtful design at the heart of everything I make.

My crochet journey began while working in a care home, where I was inspired by residents creating blankets for charity. That moment sparked a passion that quickly grew into my small handmade business, Twisted by the Sea.

All of my baby items are made in small batches or to order using trusted yarns such as Stylecraft Special DK. I focus on gentle textures, cosy finishes and timeless designs that are suitable for everyday wear as well as meaningful gifts. From pregnancy announcement booties to teddy bear cardigans and matching hat sets, each piece is designed to be both wearable and keepsake-worthy.

Every order is handmade with care, thoughtfully packaged, and ready for gifting — making my creations perfect for baby showers, new arrivals, pregnancy reveals, christenings or “just because” moments.
